Every dog is unique. That’s why we provide individualized daily dog walking that is tailored to fit your needs and your dog’s needs. Your dog will be walked individually, never with a large group of dogs, to ensure specialized attention.

We gather information from you about your dog and monitor your dog’s performance on walks to help create a comfortable daily routine. We assign your dog his or her own dog walker and set a schedule during your preferred time frame. You and your dog meet your backup walker when you sign up for service, in case your regular walker is unavailable at any time. Click here to meet our dog walking staff.

For the ultimate in dog walking reliability, Walk the Dog uses our patented Pet Check Technology™. Pet Check Technology is a system we designed that allows our walkers to scan in and scan out of your residence using mobile technology. Walk the Dog strives to be there where and when you need us. We offer regular dog walking hours as well as extended dog-walking hours to help fit your scheduling needs.

Regular Business Hours

Walk the Dog daily dog-walking hours are 9 a.m. - 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Extended Hours

Walk the Dog understands you have a busy schedule and can’t always be there for your dog when they need you. You can count on us to walk or feed your dog—just call us. Keep in mind that a 24-hour-plus advance notice is appreciated. A small surcharge may apply.

Service Area

Walk the Dog provides daily dog walking and pet care in the metro Chicago area. Our current service area is roughly 1200 South to 4400 North, and from Lake Michigan to 1600 West. Some of the neighborhoods we cover include Bucktown, Gold Coast, Lakeview, Lincoln Park, Loop, River North, South Loop, West Loop, Wicker Park, and Wrigleyville.
